Spirulina is available as a tablet,a pill, and as a powder. I received mine from Nuts.com (http://www.nuts.com/cookingbaking/powders/spirulina/organic.html) and was very happy with the result. Spirulina powder looks smells and tastes like what it is: pond scum. I sprinkled a little onto cranberry juice, which then turned black. It was quite disgusting. However, I held my breath and chugged on. The health benefits are enormous, especially for someone like me, who has difficulty getting proper nutrition. Spirulina is simply amazing, and I recommend it to everyone. Just remember to hold your breath!
